Image: The Malaysian ringgit (plural: ringgit; currency code MYR; formerly the Malaysian dollar) is the currency of Malaysia. It is divided into 100 sen (cents). The ringgit is issued by the Bank Negara Malaysia.
Peranakan and Baba-Nyonya (Chinese: 峇峇娘惹; pinyin: Bābā Niángrě; Hokkien: Bā-bā Niû-liá) are terms used for the descendants of late 15th and 16th century Chinese immigrants to the Nusantara region during the Colonial era. It applies especially to the ethnic Chinese populations of the British Straits Settlements of Malaya and the Dutch-controlled island of Java and other locations, who have adopted partially or in full Nusantara customs to be somewhat assimilated into the local communities. Sorry, the photo is a bit messy but this is where the hubs does his tutoring classes. I have never seen any other place that urges students to take tuition classes than in Malaysia. Every student (read my lips: EVERY) student does have tuition classes. My husband teaches tuition, and he teaches Algebra or any other Mathematics subject. But my husband is away most of the time so he doesn't have a lot of students. Right now, he has one, which is a friend's daughter, who also doesn't mind having make up classes every now and then.
I've been missing seafood we usually get at Southseas Subang Restaurant. One night, hubby brought some crabs home, with ingredients and a recipe from his mom. We cooked it together. I served it with wine, with candlelights on. Extra romantic. Sans the kids. That's even more romantic.
One of those pub grubs that I truly enjoyed: 21-day aged rump steak, medium rare. Got it from one of the pubs in Portobello, Notting Hill, London... courtesy of our friend, Fiona.

This time, let me take you guys to Mexico. When we were in San Diego, California, our friends told us that you can drive to Mexico in 20 minutes. The next day, we went to Tijuana, had fish taco and drove to the Pacific Ocean coastal area. We drove to this place where they shot some of the scenes in Titanic.

I know it's not autumn season anymore. In fact, in places where there are 4 seasons, it's going towards spring already. I just posted this as a memory of me in an autumn season while in London. Truly loved it.
Universal Studios, Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. We did a Universal Studios tour and saw Wisteria Lane. I saw how the cars were blown up in Fast and Fury. Norman Bates was showing off how he murdered the lady... and was coming towards us with the knife in hand. It was scary. Sharks suddenly appear from the water as we crossed the river. I think it was from the movie Jaws. And of course, they were showing how fire was made up in the movie Backdraft. All these and more when you do the tour.
One of the things we did while in LA was tour around. Went to Hollywood and Highlands mall. Outside the mall was where the famous "Walk of Fame" was. Keanu Reeve's was the nearest. So I asked the hubs to take a photo. I took a photo of him and Sandra Bullock's star.
